  This is much different from your other Shadow story, but I have to say I like it just as much. How often do fanfiction writers try to imbue the emotionless/aloof characters with motivations and hidden feelings? But you've gone the other route, and trampled any hints of such that might have actually been there. But it fits. It doesn't feel OOC or forced.

  Wow. I...WOW. This is really good, and very powerful despite its brevity. I think you've captured Shadow very well in the way that he has buried all of his emotions and lives only for himself. I also really like that Relm reminds him of Baram. Well done!
