the beginning of a new day

I can see you staring
But I don't feel the caring
I'm fighting the urge to care
You seem like something scary
Yet I'm still attracted to your vibe
Something about you is dangerous
I feel some chills of arousal
Oddly you nudge in closer
laughing I see your bright eyes
Realizing I don't need to hide
Life is one big mystery
Love is like a play
All the emotion is overdone
But I feel like I saw you the other day
And I want that reassuring feeling you carry
So as your grin emerges
The chills in me stay
I see something I thought I lost
Bravery and happiness is here to stay
So please keep you hope because it's not needed today.
