A little flirting.
A little flirting in this one... ;)
Keeping in mind what Ray had said to me, I hoped I'd made the right desicion by offering to take
Frank and Mikey hunting. But Ray insisted that we spilt up, so he took Mikey and Frank followed
me. I'd already hunted today, or... yesterday... however long it had been, but Frank needed to
learn, didn't he?
"So..." Frank started, trying to keep up with my pace, "...What'd my blood taste like?"
The question caught me off guard. We were waiting for the sign across the street to say
"You know... Do you gag whenever you drink blood or anything?" he asked, trying to avoid looking
Did I gag on his blood? "Um... no. I was just nervous. Normally it's easy to drink from people."
"Why were you nervous?" he asked as we walked across the street.
"Um... lot of preassure... to um... not kill your dad..." I lied.
"It's okay, you were worried about Mikey, right?" Frank dissmissed the conversation. If only he
knew it was him making me nervous.
I nodded as we continued to walk down the street. People stared at us when we walked by, but
Frank and I just stared back.
"I remember meeting you," Frank said simply.
"You do?" I asked, not remembering myself.
He nodded. "It was sooo long ago," he said thoughtfully. "I don't even remember how old I was. I
came over to your house, and you had a friend over as well."
I tried to think back, and finally realized that that was the truth. I did remember that little
kid, he was so cute- "Aw..." escaped my lips before I could stop it.
"What?" Frank doubled-taked.
"Um... Nothing. Just saw a puppy across the street."
Frank smiled and shook his head. "Anyways," he said, "You're the same as he told me you were."
"And what exactly did he tell you about me?"
"He said you were protective of him, into art and comics, generally nice to people who weren't
jerks," Frank finished. "Like, when we just caught you eavsdropping, it was kind of... cute."
When he saw my shocked reaction, I think he took it the wrong way and added, "I mean, I could've
been a pyshco chain saw killer waiting for that very moment since I met him, and you were just
checking on him."
I smiled. "I get it. But you know- now that you two are with us, Ray and I are gonna be checking
on you guys a lot, so get used to it," I winked.
Frank smiled, almost blushing, as he looked away from me. "So... myth or real: vampires are
noticablly more attractive than humans?
"From what I've heard, myth," I told him.
"Than how come you're so hot?" Frank asked. His eyes grew wide, "I meant, I've seen Dracula, not
so pleasing to the eye, if you get what I mean."
Pleasing to the eye? I smirked at him.
"I meant... Oh, just say something, already," Frank gave up.
I shrugged and smiled at him. "I'm not sure, just know it's a myth." He nodded. "But, for now,
you've got too be thirsty, right?"
His smile lit up. "Just a bit," he said sarcastically, pinching his fingers for emphasize.
I smiled. "Well, come on, I know the prefect target."
