Your first full day in a new country.
- The whole 'Berry Potter' scene -- very funny. As always, I look forward to the next installment
Author's responseWell it seemed like something Ginny and Luna would do around age 7 or 8. I am still trying to decide if Luna still has the bear at home.
- I loved the idea of a scholarship, utter genius. Keep up the superbe work!
Author's responseIt's interesting that everyone always thinks Dumbledore is filthy rich even when he is stealing Harry's money. I wanted to go a different route.
I also always wondered why Colin and Dennis have all this hero worship for Harry when they were muggleborn.
(#) harrisonpotter 2006-05-20 03:58:34 AMI like how the Potter money isn't being used, that was what was worrying me,his money is safe.Black money doesn't matter.I like the scholarship thingy.
No need to reply.Just wanted to add stuff left out on FF(dot)net.
(#) Meteoricshipyards 2006-05-23 06:06:37 AMA brooding drunk - I can relate. Suave he's not, but that's OK; I've read too many stories where Harry asserts his independence and suddenly he's a master at social situations (as well as military planning).
Good story. Thank you for writing.
Author's responseThanks. Harry may eventually be a smooth operating badass, but he has to get the experience just like the rest of us.
- Just a quick note to say I really enjoy this approach. The plot is developing well; it seems you are not going for a stereotypical creepy Dumbles, but actually fleshing him out for both good and ill. I don't mind that, really. It's refreshing. I just hope you don't weaken and redeem the Weasley offenders and Hermione. Although I am usually an H/Hr fan, the set up you gave is too delicious to forgive her, Ron is a useless git no matter how he is painted, and GW never got over TBWLphilia.
I am also pickled tink with your Luna. I hope they end up together. All in all, a very enjoyable read so far, so much so that I am skipping my planned trip to the range with my new .45. (You don't know me, but that is high praise, indeed!)
