Well, I have to say that I really enjoy this one. Very suspenseful, I think - in a sort of disconnected way. It's a little bit heavy to read because it's almost completely narration but, at the same time, that's one of the charming parts of the story... You have a lovely descriptive style that I admire; it's really what carries the story. Your premise reminds me a little bit of Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman but no one would be able to mistake the two stories for one and the same...
There you go Punni! A review for your story. ^^

Wow, I really enjoyed this. I was planning to read the first half, then go bread chicken, then come back and finish, but I got caught up and read the whole thing. It has a great British sensibility to it. Not a fast read, but engaging. Do you ever submit any of your original works to lit journals? I'm always uncomfortable posting original work online, so I've just started researching journals for short works. This might be a little too long for some of them, but it's worth trying in any case.
