Tensions are rising, and the enemies aren't going to stop trying.
"Kobra," Frequency greeted with a smile.
"Hey," he replied, returning the smile.
"Heard Poison and Angel ditched you," Adreniline teased, walking into the room.
Kobra merely shrugged. "Guess so."
Adreniline looked at him suspicously. "And you're not mad?"
Kobra shrugged again.
Kobra shook his head.
"You're such a pacifist," Adreniline murmured.
"Anyways," Frequency said, clearing her throat, "Adreniline, why don't you go help Ghoul out with
carrying supplies into the garage?"
Adreniline nodded and walked out the door, eyeing Kobra as she did so.
"If I didn't know any better," Kobra laughed dryly, "I'd say she's trying to start a war."
"At the moment, I'd agree with ya," Heartbreak said. "I'm gonna go check with Dr. D."
Frequency nodded to her as she walked away.
Kobra sighed. "Are you two alright?"
Frequency laughed. "Oh, do you mean because we were kidnapped? Maybe because you attached a bomb to
the plane? Or, maybe you're just trying to be nice."
He seemed to sense the sarcasm in her voice. "The bomb wasn't go to hurt you."
Adreniline walked back into the room. "You so sure about that, Kobra? 'Cuz time I checked, it
disinegrates everything within a 3 mile radius."
Kobra sighed frustratedly. "When I attached the bomb to the plane last time we were in the city, I
wired it so that if I flipped this," he stopped to pull a switch from his pocket, "it would go
off. Only then."
"Then how come Jet Star thought it was active?"
"Because, it was an emergecy thing only. Need-to-know info. So, it was a secret to everyone but
myself. The reason Jet Star regonized it as a bomb is because he's seen what types I can build. The
reason the Dracs didn't realize it is because it's to look like part of the plane."
"Enough, you two," Frequency cut in.
"I thought you weren't supposed to keep anything from us!" Adreniline hissed.
"What I do is none of your buisness!" Kobra shouted. losing his temper.
"Adreniline, leave him alone!" Frequency warned.
"Leave him alone? Why are you defending him?" Adreniline shouted at her.
"Leave her out of this," Kobra snapped.
"I have a right to know buisness about traitors!"
Kobra's jaw dropped. "You think I'm a traitor?" he asked quietly.
"If you can hide one thing from us, why not more?"
"You know what? I oughta-"
"What are you going to do, Mikey? Go running back to Korse?" Adreniline retorted.
Kobra froze, but the anger remained on his face.
"ENOUGH!" Dr. D shouted, who apparently been watching the whole phiasco.
Both were silenced and turned to him.
"Now," Dr.D said once he had their attention, "I hope you realize what a horrible impression you've
made on our guest. You know the rules about fighting. Nothing will get done if you two hate each
other. Adreniline, Fun Ghoul would like to apologize for personally not coming to retrieve you, but
he had matters to attend to."
"Boy, I'd like to hear that from him," Adreniline mumbled.
Dr.D glared at her. "Fun Ghoul wants to see you, now," he gestured his head towards the control
room (also the garage). Adreniline said nothing as she walked out of the room.
"Kobra," Dr.D sighed. "I wouldn't have expected you to do this. Her, definiately. But not you," he
pursed his lips, "Is something wrong?"
Slowly, Kobra shook his head no. "I'll... I'll just go wait outside for Poison," he said as he
quickly exited out the front door.
Dr.D looked at him, "Alright."
I stood there. I need to find some anwsers, and soon.
