'Dear Mum,' I typed, feeling my hands shake. I took another mouthful of vodka from the bottle, and felt my shakes start to calm down. I continued. 'I don't know what to say. Life's supposed to be a breath of fresh air, but I just feel like someone's stepped in my space, I have no air. Life's become dull and boring, and yes, I'm just about to fucking get rid of it, it's what you do with old toys, isn't it?
Mikey. You are the most amazing little brother anyone could ask for. You are so talented, don't let me affect you. You be careful, alright? Never let yourself get like this, get help. I love you.

I lay down in bed, and for the first time in years, couldn't wait for the next day.
