i really didnt have any homework. i just wanted to be alone. i hear the phone ring and i run to the kitchen to go answer it.

"hello?"

"hello honey. i just wanted to call to remind you and gerard that ill be home soon."

"okay mama, but gees at the arcade."

i heard her sigh. "okay call gerard and tell him to be home before dinner." she ordered.

"okay mama."

"bye take care."

before i can say bye she hung up. i think mamas mad at gee.

rays p.o.v.

gee called me earlier and started talking about something i couldnt hear. he was yelling a lot. i know he wasnt mad at me but he did sound like it. the only thing i can make up is something about not enough money, frankie, talking to tom, and telling him off. well, i thought frankie would know so i called him, but i guess he didnt. before i can ask gee whats wrong, he hung up. i guess all i can do is wait for frankie to call me back. i cant help but worry.

frankies p.o.v.

i keep calling gee but no answer. ray told me gee seemed upset. after five trys, i gave up. my whole entire i was so worried. i was in the drive way when i noticed my moms car wasnt there. where could mom be? i open the door. i wonder why it wasnt locked.

"mom?"

no answer.

i call again. "mom-you home?"

still no answer.

i head to my room and noticed a note on my bed. i look at the note and read it.

"frank,

i went out. if you need food, i left you a hundred in your drawer.

mom."

why on earth woud i need a hundred dollars to eat? besides i just ate. my mom is weird so i just headed to my bed to go to sleep. after all. It was a long day.

i tried calling gee so many times but he wont answer. he hes to be home before dinner. mama will be really mad. Ii dont know what to do.i should call frankie maybe hes with gee. i speed dialed him waiting for an answer.

ring...ring...ring...

"hello?" i finally hear frankies voice and i was so relieved.

"thank god. is gee with you?" i asked frankie.

no answer.
