  By some strange irony, several folks on LJ this week had commented that ficwad needed to include Kimahri in its character listings because Kimahri always gets overlooked -- and suddenly here we are with a bunch of Kimahri pieces! Yours however is one of the more serious of the bunch. I like your exploration of the "comrades" bond between Auron and Kimahri; there was definitely a certain affection in that chest-thump when Auron walked by. I like your having them connect as much as anything by their silences, because silence is such a part of both of them. Your reason for why Kimahri would feel drawn to him is believable. I think I might expect Auron to be a tiny bit less angstful, at least on the surface, but all in all, an enjoyable and original piece!
