"What the hell did I get myself into?
These costumes are ridiculous. As well as all these masks, they unnerve me.
And the music! A sheer rape for the human ear.
But...this place...it looks strangely familiar. As if I have spent time here before.
Happy times. With better music and in better company.
Speaking of company...this Count will have to pay for treating Anna so roughly.
I should be down there instead of the girl.
I should face this...monster and then...
...Then what?! Hurl myself at him? Take his face into my hands to kiss him?
Lord, forgive me for these impure thoughts!
