So many dead beneath my feet
Dead people laying in the ground
Few tombstones, so many prisoners
I can't breathe, suffocating me
Reverend, soldier, lady ghost
Lay me to sleep in a stone resting place
Close my eyes with a soft breath
Sleep, darling, sleep
Lost in the world
The Isle of the Dead
Oh, the convicts call me
'Come to me', their voices cry
'Set my story straight, tell them I ain't no criminal'
They grasp onto me with iron presences
My thoughts wander
Leaving soundless footprints on the muddy leaves
The grave digger
His soul haunts me
I can't let it go
