“Goodnight”
But is it really?
Good and night
Two separate words clearly.

I’m scared of falling asleep.
But why the fear?
I’m scared that when I awake
You won’t be here.

Each and every night
I wake in a scare
I need help
Evading this nightmare

So what will help?
Maybe a force from above
But what will really work
Is feeling your love.
