Morning wake up calls!
A distant buzzing noise brought me out of my sleep. I searched around for my glasses and put them on before sitting up a little. My head was hazy from sleep and daylight broke through the small gap between the curtains. Grabbing the source of the buzzing, which was my phone, I checked it. One new message. Who in the hell would text me at, half ten in the morning? Holly of course. I smiled and opened the message
Wake up sleepy head! :-P how are you this fine morning? LOL yesterday was amazing :-) fancy meeting up later? Holly Xx
Holly did know how to make me laugh. She was like a mother sending a wake up text! Meeting up with her sounded like a good idea, but right now, getting more sleep sounded good. I text her back quickly before setting my phone down, taking my glasses off and drifting back off to sleep
I never have been a morning person to wake up, but today was an exception. I turned my head and kissed Frank's forehead. I was still cuddled up to him – I don't think I had turned over during the night, not once. He looked so peaceful fast asleep. His chest rising slowly and falling gently as he breathed gently. His hair was a mess, but it was cute. I could watch him sleep for a long period of time. It was calming. His warm breath touched my skin. It tingled each time, but I kept my eyes on Frankie. After what seemed like five minutes, he began to stir out of his sleep. His eyes flickered open and he smiled
"Morning sleeping beauty." He chuckled
"Morning." He stretched before cuddling up closer.
"What's the time?"
"Coffee time." He laughed again. I loved that laugh. I kissed his cheek before sitting up. Grabbing some clothes, I dressed and Frankie did the same before following me up the stairs and into the kitchen
"Morning boys," Donald said as we walked in
"Morning dad." I looked round for Mikey
"Mikey not up?"
"No, but you could go and wake him up," my mum said. She was busy fixing dad some breakfast. I made a coffee for myself, Frankie and one for coffee
"Come on, let's go wake Mikey up." Frankie followed me closely up the stairs to Mikey's room. I opened his door slowly and crept in, while Frankie closed the door. I set mine and Mikey's coffee down on his bed side table. He was still fast asleep
"Let's jump on him," Frankie whispered. I giggled as Frankie set his coffee down too
"One, two, three." We both jumped and landed on Mikey's bed and Mikey yelled and grabbed his pillow and began lashing out. I'm such a kind brother for waking my brother up and I had Frankie's help
"Gerard you're such a fucking pain!" Mikey shouted hitting me over the head of the pillow. Frankie lay on his back laughing. It seemed so inviting to crawl and hover above him, just to annoy Mikey
"Mum said to come and wake you," I said averting my eyes from Frankie
"I suppose, but it's a Sunday and I like sleeping in on a Sunday."
"Everyone does, and I made you a coffee."
"Thanks." A buzzing noise sounded and Mikey grabbed his glasses again and then his phone and read the text. I watched as a smile came across his face
"And who might that be?" Frankie said smiling
"Then why are you smiling?" I asked
"None of your business!" I had a way of making him talk
"Come on Mikey, tell me, or I'll get it out of you."
"You're not taking my phone either." Mikey shoved his phone under his pillow
"Not what I was thinking of." I crawled over to Frankie and began to kiss him
"Guys not in my room! Wait." I stopped kissing Frankie and looked at my brother
"Does mum and dad know you're going out?"
"Knew you two would get together," Mikey said smiling. I rolled my eyes and continued to kiss Frankie
"Fuck sake guys, what did I say?" Frustration was in his voice. I let Frankie kiss my neck a second
"Keep doing it until you tell us whose text you." I had a good idea as to who it was who had text him, but wanted to hear my brother admit it. I continued to kiss Frankie, trying not to get too carried away
"Fine! It's Holly." I sat up and Frankie sat up right
"Just as I thought," Frankie said smiling
"She wants to meet up with me later in the park."
"Just you?" I asked raising an eyebrow
"She hasn't said anything about you two or anyone else." I nodded my head and smiled. I grabbed my coffee and began to sip it
"You can bring her back here afterwards if you want, me and Frankie will stay out your ways providing you keep the noise down." Frankie chuckled and my brother gave me the finger
"I'm joking, but seriously, you can bring her back here later if you like."
"Thanks." Mikey grabbed his coffee and so did Frankie
"What do you want to do today Frankie?" He screwed his face up to think
"Video games? Music?"
"Sounds good." I smiled at Frankie and he smiled back and we sat on Mikey's bed drinking our coffee.
After both me and Frank had dressed properly, we had spent the rest of the morning playing video games, while Mikey went out to meet up with Holly. I would guess he would be out for a couple of hours. Mum had made both me and Frankie lunch – normally she would leave me and friends to make our lunch, so it was a surprise for her to call us down to lunch
"You boys behave, I'm taking your father out for a while." My father had a desperate look on his face; one he only showed when mum dragged him out to the mall to go shopping. It was rather funny and I bit my bottom lip trying not to laugh at my father
"Ok, have fun." Soon as the door closed, Frankie had begun to giggle
"The look on your dad's face was classic!"
"I know it's the save me! I'm being tortured and about to be dragged through every shop in the mall! Look." I burst into fits of laughter. We finished our lunch and dumped our plates into the sink and both grabbed a can of coke each and went and sat in the living room
"Gee?" It sent goose-bumps down my arms when he called me that. I smiled
"Yeah? Frankie?" He smiled at me
"You know you were singing yesterday?"
"Yes . . . . ." I was wondering where this was going
"Well, I saw all the song lyrics, in your bedroom, last night." Last night. I began to smile as I remembered last night with Frankie
"Uh, yeah." I snapped my attention back to Frankie quickly
"Well, I have pansy with me, fancy seeing if we can make music to go with it?" The idea sounded good. None of my songs are brilliant, but it was worth a laugh
"Sure." With a quick kiss on his forehead, I got up from the sofa and ran down the stairs and into my room. I grabbed a load of paper with lyrics on, spare sheets of paper and a pen. I saw my sketch book. I grabbed it quick and disappeared back up the stairs to see Frankie already sitting with Pansy, ready to play
"You can read them, they're a little lame though." I handed him the lyrics sheets sheepishly and sat down and opened up my sketch book and began to draw
"Whoa, Gee." I glanced up
"These are amazing!" He put them down and began strumming out a few notes. It was interesting to watch him play out music and write down the notes and chords
"Hey, could I be a pain?" I laughed
"You're not a pain Frankie, what is it?"
"Could I get you to, you know, sing some of your lyrics, I want to hear how it sounds." I felt a warmth in my cheeks and put down my sketch pad and the lyrics sheet he had been working on. I began to sing, quietly and listened to the sweet sounds that he played along. It sounded really good if I do say so myself. He stopped as I stopped
"Gee, you're fucking amazing at singing!" he beamed at me. I smiled back
"You're brilliant, how did you get the chords and notes right?" Frankie shrugged his shoulders
"Comes with practice I suppose, I write some lyrics sometimes, when I'm having a bad day and just play." Wasn't there anything this boy could do? He was amazing. Sure he may be quiet and get beaten at school, and hurt himself more when he did cut, but he truly was an amazing guy. He put Pansy down for a moment
"What you been drawing?" My eyes darted to my sketch pad. I had let my mind wonder while I was drawing and he ended up drawing Frankie. I very rarely draw real people, normally I'm drawing characters for comics or story ideas. I loved my comics so much that I would sometimes draw characters from the comics. I picked up my sketch book and held it close
"Uh-" I didn't really want to show him. He moved closer to me
"Please?" Fuck! He looked like a puppy dog right now – big eyes begging and pouting, it was fucking adorable. I handed him my sketch pad. He flipped through from the beginning, in stunned silence. It felt a little awkward and even more awkward as he came to the one of him
"How in the hell, can you draw so perfectly and sing beautifully?" he looked into my eyes smiling. You could say you could get lost in his eyes sometimes. His eyes were mixed emotions during the week, but at the weekends, it seemed they were calm, relaxed and happy.
"Like you said with your guitar playing skills, comes with practice." He looked back down at it before closing the sketch book and placed it on the coffee table
He started edging closer towards me, his face coming in closer and closer. I simply smiled, before closing the gap. I grabbed his hood and pulled it up, and pulled his face closer, pressing my lips to his. It was a gentle kiss. More memories of last night came to my mind. I loved how he would lace his fingers through my hair. It sent chills down my spine. His taste sent my taste buds crazy at times. I pulled him closer to my body and felt our torsos rub. A soft moan from his mouth. I wanted to push him down onto his back, but he fought. For a small guy, he was strong and I expect given the time could be very energetic like Holly. I allowed myself get pushed backwards and have him straddle my hips
"Talk about bad timing!" Frankie broke away and I pushed myself up, to see Mikey half covering his face, while Holly stood there giggling away
"You got that right," Frankie mumbled
"Oh shut up Mikey, you were finding it rather good to watch I no doubt," I said teasingly
"Did not!" Mikey shouted causing Holly to laugh even more. Holly ran over and rugby tackled Frankie into a hug before hugging me as well
"You two look like you were having fun," Holly giggled sitting on the floor. I glanced at Frankie and Frankie smirked
"I'm sure you and Mikey had more fun yesterday." She stopped giggling as Mikey came and sat next to her
"Yeah, your bite wasn't that hard to miss." Holly grabbed the sheet that Frankie had been scribbling on
"What's this?" Holly said changing the subject quickly
"I been writing chords and notes for one of the songs Gee's written." Mikey took it from Holly and read through it
"Looks good," Mikey said smiling and looking up
"Maybe you should go and get your guitar and play along with it," Holly suggested. Mikey got up and disappeared upstairs.
Well, I am feeling rather generous tonight; 2 chapters in one night! You will still get a chapter tomorrow :-)
Has anyone else heard the news about Billie Joe?
