Frank's POV

Even though Shayne wasn't here, which was in a way complete bliss as none of the other jocks seemed to turn on us, me and Gerard still bunked sports. I don't think the school really cared anymore. Gee had propped himself up against the bike shed and had his sketch pad balanced on his knees. He loved his drawing and in fact, I loved seeing his drawings. He had started to work on a comic strip, which even though wasn't completed, was still pretty awesome to look at. The thought of Holly now being straight, was kind of weird for me to think about. I had known Holly to be hyperactive and a little flirty with girls and guys at school – the ones that weren't homophobic. I just wanted to know how Mikey had managed to turn Holly straight
"What are you day dreaming about?" I looked up to see Gee was staring at me. Shit, how long had he been staring at me
"Nothing." Gee smirked. I knew he wouldn't buy it
"Seriously Frankie, tell me." I let out a little sigh

"I'm so used to Holly being bi, it's just going to be strange with her being straight now." Gee laughed before placing his sketchbook down on the ground and motioning for me to move closer.
"I thought that might be the case." He was calm and cool. I rested my head on his shoulder. Besides holding his hand and sitting close to him in lessons, it was the first time since this morning that I was able to cuddle up to him
"So lively and bouncy, I mean, once word gets out that she is straight, and knowing Georgia, she has told the whole school by now-"
"Not to mention seen her kiss my baby brother." I smirked. In all honesty, Holly had kissed guys and girls for dares but that was on the cheek, never full on the lips
"Well it's whether the cheerleaders will turn on her more or what, or whether they'll leave her alone and continue picking on me."
"Don't be fucking ridiculous! Holly seems to take pride in tormenting the cheerleaders, you really think she is gonna stop tormenting them?" Gee had a very good point. Holly always tormented the cheerleaders

"Good point," I said giggling. Gee ran the back of his hand over my cheek
"And seriously, Holly is still crazy and she is still with us right, so she isn't going to leave you and there is no way she is getting away from being abused, I mean she's dating my brother." I hadn't really thought of Holly dating anyone. It struck me how cute Mikey and Holly seemed. As I'm sure I've said before, Holly is a lot like me in a way, except I never was hyperactive at school and she was a girl. No wonder she got attracted to Mikey, he is Gee's brother.
"You're right, just take some getting used to."
"And who's to say she is going to completely ignore other girls?"
"She is close with her girly friends, except never really talks to them much when she is with me." Gee had remained calm, stroking the side of my cheek. My cheek felt a little funny, tingling almost but it was nice
"Stop worrying Frankie," Gee laughed
"I'm not worrying, just the thought of her being straight." Gee continued to laugh
"Well one's thing for sure, we just gotta make sure that Mikey and Holly don't interrupt us." Gee stopped stroking my cheek and I sat up and looked round. He began to grin

"Well after all, they did walk in on us, when you were straddling my hips," He giggled. I blushed a little
"True, but we're alone now." It was true. You could hear very faint shouting. Holly and Mikey were in lesson and no one came here. Gee smiled
"Oh Frankie." Before I knew it, Gee had knocked me flat on my back and had his lips pressed firmly to mine. He broke away and kissed down my neck. Fuck, I could just start to feel myself get a little hard
"And what would Frankie like for his birthday," Gee asked bringing his forehead to mine. In all honesty I hadn't really thought about my birthday. If I was perfectly honest I just wanted to have Gee for my birthday
"You." It was an honest answer and Gee smiled before kissing me again
"You'll get me anyway, and I'll get you something else, I'll have a think." His lips were gentle and full of passion as they moved with mine. I wish I could do this openly with Gee around school; it would be amazing but no. I just hoped I didn't go home with grass stains on my clothes, otherwise mum would go mental and ask what I had been doing. I couldn't exactly say I was making out with Gee behind the old bike as again she would go mental at us for skipping class and then would go all silly over the fact I was with someone. I treasured the moment as Gee bit gently down on my lip.

-------------------------

"Looks like we won't have ass-wipe Shayne pestering us all week," Holly said running over. It was Wednesday and too crowded to sit in the canteen for lunch
"What do you mean?"
"Well, in the changing rooms, I heard that he has some sort of tooth problem, if any luck, his looserific of a bitch punched him one," Holly said cheerfully sitting down next to Mikey. Things felt like they were too good to be true
"Big baby, a toothache is nothing." I laughed at Gee. In all honesty, I have had toothache, but the pain was nothing compared to one of Shayne's poundings
"Give over, who was the one complaining that their tooth was killing after they got hurt at their old school," Mikey sneered
"Who was the one screaming like a little girl when the found me?"
"All right boys, I know you're brothers in all and usually have your little 'sibling wars' but it does get childish," Holly said before tucking into the pile of chips she had picked up. Mikey and Gee went quiet and I smiled at Gee. I could imagine Mikey screaming at Gee, but I think I would be screaming like a little girl, running around in circles waving my arms around before hyperventilating and passing out

"And seriously, like a little girl?" Gee laughed and Mikey chucked one of Holly's chips at Gee
"I hate you Gerard."
"Love you too Mikey." It was cute when Mikey and Gee had their little arguments, even when I'm at their house. Their mum isn't too pleased, but in all honesty, I laugh at it
"You still up for coming round mine after school?" I asked
"Fuck yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Gee said beaming. I smiled back at him. Mikey rolled his eyes
"Have you even told your mum yet Frank?" I hadn't told my mum that I was dating Gee. He had told his parents and was able to breathe normally ten minutes after his mum had pulled him into a bone crushing hug. I was glad that I wasn't there, but Mikey said it was just hilarious to see Gee's face change different colours as their mum hugged him
"Not yet, so I'll tell her when Gee is with me." I had a feeling that Gee was nervous about it. But I knew my mum would be fine with it. She wasn't homophobic or anything. She always knew I was gay considering Holly has only ever been my closest female friend
"She'll be fine with it." Holly's tone was positive
"As long as she doesn't do bone crushing hugs," Gee mumbled and Mikey laughed
"No, it will be me that will suffer that!"

"Damn bell," Holly muttered as the bell sounded for the end of lunch. Getting up off the grass was painfully slow. I didn't really want to go to my next lesson
"Art which isn't too bad," Mikey said and Holly sighed
"All I'm good at is drawing stick people!" Holly protested
"Swap with you."
"Why? What have you got?" Mikey asked as we walked slowly back towards the canteen to drop our trays off
"Biology." Off all the lessons in the world, I hated biology even if it was easy. Our teacher Mr Forbes was a big fan of dissections, cutting up sheep eyes and identifying the different parts of the eye, dissecting a pigs heart, pumping up lungs with a foot pump to show us how they inflate and then making us take the scalpel to a poor dead frog that was most likely killed in the most inhumane way possible. Being a vegetarian and knowing how animals are mistreated in farms and then how they are slaughtered and served up on a plate with blood in its veins makes me feel sick. Gee knew exactly how I felt about it after we questioned one another on our third day of knowing each other

"Just suggest that homophobes should be used instead of rats and frogs. Might be funny to see his reaction," Holly suggested. I laughed. It sounded like a good idea and even though Gee laughed, I got a feeling he'd stop me from saying it
"It would be better than using animals, but they'll never learn." I'm forever arguing with the teacher and I'm surprised any work gets done in that class. I have had remarks made towards me, such as 'you're an animal too yet you cut yourself.' In my eyes it's different. Holly and Mikey saw us off as we reached biology and they continued to walk to art. Me and Gee sat down and I folded my arms
"Better not be dissecting anything today," I huffed as I folded my arms on the table and rested my head on my arms. Gee giggled
"Aww, don't worry, if you get kicked out, you won't be going alone." Under the table, Gee placed a hand on my knee and smiled at him
"Thank you." Nearby someone coughed 'fags' and Gee turned round to glare at them, but didn't move his hand away. The teacher came in and what noises were being made fell silent at once
"Right class, today, you are going to look at the process of how we breathe." It sounds so lame and I hid my face in my arms as he continued to ramble on. Gee started to draw in his notebook and I turned my head so I could watch him. He glanced at me every now and then and smiled. He was coming round mine later. I wasn't sure if Mikey and Holly were coming or not. If they weren't, then maybe me and Gee could spend some time alone together until my mum got home

"Mr Iero, pay attention." I sighed and sat up a little bit and stared at the teacher. He hated my guts and I hated him back, but really couldn't care less
"If you don't pay attention then you will fail my class and I won't let you retake the exam." As if I cared. I really didn't want to be at school anymore, I really didn't
"Sorry sir."
"Now, the intercostal muscles between your ribs," he began again and I zoned out, letting my eyes drop back to what Gee was drawing and let my thoughts run wild

Narrator's POV

After having his confidence knocked back in an hour long biology lesson, Frank was glad to have a double lesson of art with Gerard. Painting was on the agenda for today's double lesson. The teacher had sat themselves down at a desk, with a canvas and was painting away themselves, leaving the students to paint their partner. The familiar smell of paint filled the room, and the gentle sounds of paintbrushes against canvas could be heard along with the sounds of water swirling as paint brushes were washed in the yogurt pots filled with water, that soon turned from clear to muddy browns. Gerard had knuckled down hard, with his painting of Frank, glancing up to check that he hadn't missed any detail. Frank looked up constantly to check that what he had painted looked similar to Gerard. The lesson was peaceful, and calm as it came to the last half an hour of the lesson

Gerard's POV

I looked up for one last time to check that I hadn't miss any detail off Frankie's beautiful face. I looked at the finished article. I could paint but I much preferred drawing. I looked to Frankie who was still painting. I giggled quietly at the look of concentration on his face as he painted; tongue sticking out to the side and eyes following his paint brush down the page. I had an idea come to mind and picked my paint brush back up and dipped it in the black paint
"Hey Frankie." I spoke quietly. His eyes darted upwards, with his tongue still sticking out to one side
"You got a little paint on you," I whispered
"Where?" I dotted his nose and then proceeded to draw whiskers on his cheeks
"There." I giggled even more just seeing his face. He looked annoyed, but smirked before giggling
"So have you." His paint brush was cold as he ran paint down the bridge of my nose and dotted my cheeks. He giggled and I laughed even more
"You look adorable with whiskers," I whispered, so that no one on the neighbouring tables could hear. Frankie blushed, it was so cute. His eyes dropped to the painting I had finished and he pulled it closer
"Fucking hell!" The teacher shot her head up and Frankie dipped his head down and I smirked

"Is it really that bad?"
"Shut up! This is amazing Gee! So talented, the detail and the colour." He admired the painting as much as he had admired the sketch I did of him at the weekend. He placed it down and shoved his painting towards me
"It's not brilliant, but-"
"No, don't put yourself down, it's amazing!" The brush strokes made it look artistic and a little more abstract than an actual portrait. The colours were nice and blended together in perfect unison. I smiled. Frankie had painted it and I loved it
"If we get to take this home, I might just clear a space on my bedroom wall to hang it up."
"You're just saying that to be nice." I placed my finger to his lips.
"No I'm not, I'm being serious."
"Fags," someone hissed from another table. I ignored it even though Frankie's eyes darted to the direction it had come from. Frankie looked back at me and smiled before he kissed my finger and I smiled. I looked round at the clock and decided to start clearing away the stuff now, saving us having to do it last minute before the bell went. While at the sink, I got a paper-towel wet and wiped away the paint that was on my face. I had no idea if I had got it off before Frankie sneaked up behind me. Other students were finishing and coming to clear their stuff away too. Frankie grabbed another paper-towel, ran it under the tap before dragging me to one side

"You missed a spot." He took the paper-towel I had been using and wiped the remaining paint off my face. I took the paper-towel he had got damp and wiped the paint off his face
"Messy, can't trust you with paints." I winked at him and he smiled
"You're the one that started it!" I tossed the paper-towels into the bin and returned to our table and we both waited for the bell to ring. It wasn't long before it did ring and I was walking out of art holding Frankie's hand, pulling him close as we made our way through the hordes of students rushing to get out of school. Mikey and Holly were waiting by the gate
"Holly is coming home with me." Me and Frankie looked at one another
"Why, you two got some homework to work one?" Frankie said before winking
"Oh haha, and Frank you got paint on your face," Holly said giggling. Frankie blushed and I smiled at him. We set out of the school gates. I seriously doubt Mikey and Holly had any homework – Holly doesn't really seem the type to do homework. I knew the soul reason why I was going to Frankie's to tell his mum that he was dating me. It didn't take long to get to Frankie's house. I watched to make sure Mikey got home and went inside with Holly before being pulled inside Frankie's house.

"What do you want to do while we wait for my mum to get home."
"Need you suggest that one?" I finished kicking my shoes off before walking over to Frankie and kissing him
"Fancy getting a coffee or a coke and some food, and then watching a film maybe? Or going to my room with food and drink, saving us getting caught and freaking my mum out?" I giggled
"I like the sound of the latter idea." It took Frankie to work out what I had said before he smiled. I followed him into the kitchen. We settled for coke and cookies and doritos before rushing up the stairs and to his room. We sat on the bed and he went and fetched pansy and started to play. I loved listening to him play. I fed him doritos every now and then as he played and giggled as he tried to multi-task. I moved closer and kissed his forehead every now and then. Mikey had said he'd try and teach me how to play, but never got round to it
"I wish I could play."
"I can teach you." I placed the bag of doritos down, took a sip of coke and then took hold of Pansy. He moved round behind me and brought his arms round and began to teach me the very basics. Time seemed to fly by as we heard the front door open and close
"Frank? Gerard?" We both looked up and I felt a little nervous. I had been told she would be fine with it, but still felt nervous
"Upstairs mum! Be down in a minute!" Frankie called back. He kissed the side of my neck, before getting up and taking Pansy and putting her back on her stand
"It will take time, but I'm sure you'll get to grips with it." I smiled at him before standing up and walking over to Frankie.
