Roy Mustang must confront the consequences of Maes Hughes' ill fated investigation of Lab Five and the identity of Juliet Douglas.
(#) Heathenesque 2006-07-18 07:21:11 AMThat was a wonderful look at the moments that we never see in either the manga, or the anime. You have an excellent ear with the dialogue, as well. I could hear their voices so clearly.
Author's responseYou just made my day. Dialouge is one of the hardest things to get right, I think, and I'm very pleased that you thought it realistic.

Author's responseWith the time it took me to write the necessary level of detail into the story, I'm glad you enjoyed it and took the time to review!
(#) fictionalizedme 2006-10-16 06:12:16 PMOne of my all-time favorite lines ever: There were no sides, only men and women and children, screaming and dying as Ishbal fell.
Beautiful, beautiful job. I love the going back and forth in time, as Roy's mind tries to adjust to his current reality.
It's interesting that I kept getting parallels in my mind to "...Ever Widening Silence." Perhaps, one day in the far future, you and LJ should think about writing Ishballan-era Maes and Mustang.
