Wow, Theo read my mind. I was going to say it would be entirely too funny if somehow Harry won, and completely by accident. He wasn't paying attention- was actually trying to lose- and just moved a piece, and it ended up resulting in checkmate. -

This is delightful. May I suggest a follow-on with Hermione's reaction to Harry 'losing' the prize of Lavender's virginity to Ron?
