  And this is the perfect example of why Ron/Hermione doesn't work, but it still makes me sad. Very well written, and I think you really captured the essence of both characters. Good job.

  And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how R/Hr is destined to end. No matter how many people think it is UST, a relationshiop cannot be based on the fact that you continually annoy the other person to the point of homicidal anger. Ron and Hermione will date a few years then the scene in this story will inevitably come about.
  
  A sad but entirely plausible story that manages to be completely in-character.
