All I know now if that this brick could crumble,
I could smash it down if I wanted to,
But shattered, battered, cut up, fucked up me just smiles instead,
Letting out screams,
Pleads,
My dreams,
They burn me,
There’s nothing left of me,
I’m wasting,
Wasting my life away,
I’m wasting away,
Tell me, where should I be today?
Or tomorrow?
Remind me of the broken promises from yesteryear,
Remind me of how much I want to get out of here,
I hyperventilate,
Let me drown in my rage,
In my pity,
Sorrow,
Hollow little me,
Screams,
A room of smashed furniture behind the scenes,
I pull on my mask and the drama begins,
Act one, scene one of my miserable life,
And join me as I grow older,
Plucking cynics from roads,
Dragging narcissists from rooftops,
They don’t realise they’re pushing me, pulling me, holding me under,
And it hurts,
I can’t breathe,
I can’t breathe,
I can’t breathe,
I can’t breathe,
It
Hurts
To
Breathe.
