Just a quick nit -- formatting...
you need to format the story better.
It's ok to have paragraphs, but you need to put lines between the paragraphs to keep the story flowing better. Had a hard time reading.
I've rated the story so far, as I think it's an interesting concept.
You also need to EXPAND a bit on what you're presenting. Ie: the Woman.
The parasite, yeah, minimal on that, bang bang bang .. it's gone. But, you've left a huge plot hole with the Woman.
