  I enjoyed this story, in fact I was sad that it ended so soon! In my opinion it could have gone on five times longer and I still would have wanted to read more! I especially liked how everyone seemed in character. Going to go check out your other stories now :-)

  i really like how you made the pearl into a living being. Probably because jack does see her that way. Very nice.

  Oh, yes... We have this odd concept that the Pearl has a voice of her own, just for Jack, and she's his own true love. After all, he's gone through hell for her, hasn't he?
