Dark patterns swirl through a dark tinted past,
Teardrops are lies that will end at last,
Or was that another lie that slipped through the net?
Here's your last chance to place your bets,
And kiss me goodbye as the pain takes hold,
I promise to forget all the lies that you told,
But I won't forget the way that the blade pierced my skin,
I can try, but I'll lose because I don't know how to win,
Slap on a smile, and rip off your face,
Stand tall, stand straight and stay in your place,
Because there's something deep down that only you know;
You know exactly how this is going to go,
It ends in a cemetery, champagne on ice,
But now, not even the end could ever suffice,
Continuing with the sound of a muffled cry,
Fists in your eyes because teardrops are lies.
