The smell of smoke reached him first, then the acrid chemical stink. Watari flung open the door to his laboratory, and found, to his horror, Tsuzuki cooking.
No, he was burning Watari's notes and pouring his latest experiments-in-progress down the sink. "What are you doing?" Watari screamed and rushed in to save the last beaker. Tsuzuki turned and smiled at him gently.
