It didn't take long for Archie to find the warehouses.
"4326...4326..." he kept keeping the warehouse number in his head.
Eventually he found them. 4324? No not that one... 4325? No that's not it...
4326? Found it! Archie would have celebrated right there but he wasn't going to
until he was sure Atlanta was there and was back at the dorm safely.
He surveyed the area. What was a way for him to get in without getting caught,
but still be able to see the inside? He eventually saw an opening that he could
get through, hopefully unnoticed.
Archie peered though the opening and gasped slightly. It was one of Cronus'
giants! He was sure that Cronus must be here too. And if Cronus was here then so
was Atlanta.
Archie's warrior instints told him to go back to the dorm and tell Jay. But
he stayed put. He wanted to know where Atlanta was. And know for sure that she
was alive. Why else would Cronus be here?
That question confused Archie. Why WAS Cronus here? Shouldn't he be at
his unknown hideout? He had a bad feeling about this. If Cronus was here
with Atlanta instead of his hideout then he must be using her for bait. It
made sense because there was no point in using her for bait in his hideout
if none of the heros knew where it was. Unless this warehouse was the
hideout.
Archie knew he should go back but he didn't. Praying that the giant
wouldn't notice him he cautiously crept past them and hid behind a pile of
wooden crates. Then he looked around to find a place where he could see the inside
safely, and jumped.
There was Atlanta tied up to a metal post. She appeared to be sleeping.
Archie realized that it would be pointless to go back without her now.
And he didn't want to just leave her there. So quietly he walked up to her
and gently shook her awake.
Atlanta, thinking it was Cronus, wanted to yell at him. But luckily
Archie put a hand over her mouth and held a finger to his lips telling
her to be quiet. After realizing it was Archie, Atlanta nodded.
Quietly Archie began to untie her. After she was free Atlanta whispered,
" how did you find me here?"
"I'll explain later now we have to get out of here."
"Oh I don't think I'll let you do that," said a voice behind them.
Archie turned around to see cronus and his henchmen blocking their only way
of escaping the warehouse.
They were trapped!
