  Surprisingly, I find this piece extrememly poetic. In swift, careful, little words, it tells the story of a woman, her pain and trials, her guilt. Though, I've never read or cared for an Ororo/Mystique story [or is it Mystique/Ororo??], I really like this one. I think I'm smitten :p

  Excellent work. I never thought of Storm doubting like this, but now that I read your fic it definitely seems plausible. I like the way you portray her as human - struggling.

  Gorgeous and poetic, yet... real. I especially liked the appearance of "liar" at the beginning and the end. Additional kudos for keeping Mystique in her original form; lord knows she's seductive enough without the shapeshifting. ^_^
