Chapter Nineteen:
Chicago is so Two Years Ago
"Loaded words and loaded friends are loaded guns to our heads."

I took one last look at myself in the mirror before going on stage. I was wearing a white corset topped dress. The dress then flowed down into a floor length dress, and the color switched from black to white. The make-up artist did a number on my face. They added black and white swirls around my eyes, and on my arms. I looked enchanting. I carefully pulled on my black masquerade mask, and I heard the crowd shouting our name.
I looked over to Eric, Brennan, and Zack. They were dressed in black and white as well, but in tuxes and formal wear.
I kept replaying the entrance in my mind as not to mess it up. The strobe lights would start, and I would start out in a very high octave, singing a few introduction lines.
All of the sudden I heard the director of our show yell at me to get my butt on stage, or he'd fire me. I just chuckled.
They cued the strobe lights, and I began to walk out, gliding on my converse underneath my dress. I began to sing.
Laying my head on the pillow
I began to pray
That the blood
That dripped from my wrist
Would erase
Your ever so beautiful kiss
I used to dream
You'd be mine
But now I know
Dreams . . . are . . . for . . . sleeping . . .
The strobes lights stopped, and the fire ignited beside me. I grabbed the microphone from the stand, and threw the stand aside. Listen to the beat Brennan was starting up I began to sing the song.
Chorus
Nobody with a broken heart
Wants to listen to a love song
So shut the record off because
The song just seems too hopeful
Doesn't she know?
He doesn't love her like that
Never like that
End of Chorus
I used to sit in class
And I would sit and think of him
Now I'm failing school
'Cause my notebook is filled with
His name so there's no room for notes
Bridge
You caused this
You son of a bitch
But I'm gonna love you
Like nobody loves you
End of Bridge
Chorus
Nobody with a broken heart
Wants to listen to a love song
So shut the record off because
The song just seems too hopeful
Doesn't she know?
He doesn't love her like that
Never like that
End of Chorus
So you talk to her
And flirt a little but you don't mean it
So, lead her on, and tell her lies
It doesn't matter she's just a girl right?
Bridge
You caused this
You son of a bitch
But I'm gonna love you
Like nobody loves you
End of Bridge
Chorus
Nobody with a broken heart
Wants to listen to a love song
So shut the record off because
The song just seems too hopeful
Doesn't she know?
He doesn't love her like that
Never like that
End of Chorus
Bridge 2
You did this (YOU DID THIS)
You song of a bitch
But I'm gonna love you
Like nobody loves you (NOBODY LOVES YOU)
End of Bridge 2
Chorus
Nobody with a broken heart
Wants to listen to a love song
So shut the record off because
The song just seems too hopeful
Doesn't she know?
He doesn't love her like that
Never like that
End of Chorus
All the promises you broke
All the lies you spoke
All the steps you didn't take
All the hearts you had to break
This is my goodbye
I won't miss you
Bridge 2
You did this (YOU DID THIS)
You song of a bitch
But I'm gonna love you
Like nobody loves you (NOBODY LOVES YOU)
End of Bridge 2
He said he couldn't
Stand to see my heart broken
So he closed his eyes
When he said goodbye
It was about half an hour later when I was doing my slow song with just me and Zack on piano. I was exhausted, but the adrenaline was still pumping through my veins. "Okay we're going to slow it down a bit,' I said to the crows as I took my seat on the piano. "Okay this song is called Someone should Sue Disney. It's comes from the phrase 'someone should sue Disney for making every little girl think she had a prince charming.' This is one of my favorite songs from this album. So, here we go."
We used to be just kids
Playing lazar tag
And now we're finally
Of teen age
But it hurts
And I'm bleeding
Mom says don't bleed on the carpet
Chorus
And I finally told
Him off today
Told him he wasn't
A good catch at all
I finally took the blade
Out of my hand
End of Chorus
They'd stick us in a room
And we'd bang on the walls
To make them think we were
Doing something
And with pink fingernail polish
She painted his name on
The black bathroom stal
Chorus
And I finally told
Him off today
Told him he wasn't
A good catch at all
I finally took the blade
Out of my hand
End of Chorus
Yeah we were just kids
Joking of something stupid
And putting a whole pack of
Bubble gun in our mouth
Yes, a vision of innocence
Gone bad like a rotten apple
But we're no wicked step mother
Nor are you my step sister
Chorus
And I finally told
Him off today
Told him he wasn't
A good catch at all
I finally took the blade
Out of my hand
Chorus
And I finally told
Him off today
Told him he wasn't
A good catch at all
I finally took the blade
Out of my hand
End of Chorus
I'm bleeding
And mom says no bleeding on the carpet

Soon, almost too soon, the night was over, and we were exhausted, but we played well which was surprising seeing as we stayed up all night.
I was excited that we finished off our first show. The next shows we'd be playing with My Chemical Romance. They'd just come out with there new album "The Black Parade," and I was excited to hear it. I really wanted to meet Gerard as well. He was such a genius.
When we got to the hotel Pete and I just collapsed onto the bed, and fell asleep in each others arms.

A/N: There you guys go. Much love, and I hope you have a good Thanksgiving (although I should be updating before then, but just in case I get side tracked.)
