Understanding
0 ReviewsThey insult you and rip you to pieces. I am here to heal you and sew you back together.
Those hurtful words were slung at you;
Stabbing your heart, ripping your soul.
Here you sit
With those dreadful tears caressing your soft face.
They do not understand,
They never will.
Carefully, my hand stretches out
To relieve you of your pain.
My fingers mold to your skin,
My forehead connected to the top of your hair.
Slowly your tears stop,
And your pain becomes mine.
They do not understand,
But I do.
