  I really enjoyed this - Anya was beautifully in-character, as were the rest of the cast. For a short piece, I thought that the importance and weight of Joyce's death to Anya were excellently dealt with. Thanks for writing. :)

  Excellently done short and bitter sweet. The series never really went into the feelings of most of the characters especially the ones who weren't vamps tortured with souls or Buffy.
