"Take heed." he said and i couldnt help but laugh. what was to become of my baby brother and me stretched further than either of us could fathom.
Butterflies in the stomach and hope in our hearts we set out as the sun peeked over the hills.
"they say its a jungle out there."
Now he tells me.
Our steps were certian
our pace was steady
our eyes were bright
and our minds were made.
we knew what was required of us, but could we muster it?
Standing on the threshold of our lives was like diving into a pool knowing you cant swim.you cant breathe before you hit the water.
Be that as it may we continued onward into the questionable darkness to see what misery had in store for us.armed with only our black little hearts, i flirted with hesitation and in the end it didnt ask for more.
