Chapter 2: Confession
(A couple of weeks later, a banquet is held in celebration of Cao Cao's birthday. All of Cao Cao's military advisors and generals are present. Some of his concubines sat beside him. Lei Ying was coerced to be one of them. She doesn't get attached to Cao Cao during the banquet, since she started to grow feelings for a certain Wei general)
Cao Cao:
(Says in his drunken voice)
Come, Guo Jia, my confidante!
drink 'til the blood is warm and fuzzy
(he holds up his cup)
Guo Jia:
There's nothing else I'd rather do
but to share a cup with you
Due to my present condition
I'll have to give it a thumbs down.
Cao Cao:
You're such a wet blanket, my dear advisor

(offers the coming evil with a cup)
Dian Wei:
Forthwith I shall indulge since you insist.
(drinks the whole thing in one gulp)
Cao Cao:
(applauds happily and smile)
You've never seem to disappoint me, friend.
(Notices Lei Ying sititng and not drinking. She is looking bored with disinterest of the event)
What is wrong, my golden nightingale?
Are you cooling your heels for me?
Lei Ying:
Not at all my lord
Past couple of days, I was accustomed to malnutrition
Consumption of large amounts of food
afflicts pain to my midsection.
Cao Cao:
Why not you say so in the first place?
Rest in your chambers

(Lei Ying leaves out of the room, before going, she takes a look at Yue Jin and Li Dian. Cao Cao is too drunk to notice)
Yue Jin:
(Pretends he needs to use the potty)
Nature calls, the snake's about to come out

(Before he goes, he stops at his friend, whispering)

Yue Jin:

(Leaves to catch up with Lei Ying)

(saying to himself as the party continues without him)
These words are revertebrating again

and falling in love with the nightingale

allowed them to behave accordingly
