I had a bit of a laugh at Harry ruminating over the more mundane uses of magic. It was especially amusing when he thought of the Dursleys and their reaction to magic.
Interesting setup you have there. It remains to be seen where you will take Harry and Hermione, along with whoever else you get into the equation.
