Drabble request from the infamous kimi no vanilla. She's corrupted me, ahem. :D

Naruto not mine, etcetera and so on.

Request - Asuma/Kakashi, "Curtain"

:D

Asuma fingered the lacey drapes with a slightly distasteful expression. "Curtains?"

"Gai put them up, actually." Kakashi pushed the door shut behind him and joined the other jounin at the window. "He threatened bodily harm if I removed them. Something about needing to make the place look lived-in."

"I'm surprised they aren't green."

"Oh, they were initially," the masked ninja replied cheerfully. "But I took them down to the laundromat and had them bleached. About ten times." He fingered the curtains himself. "They do still have a green tinge if you look at them in the right light..."

Asuma snorted and retrieved his cigarettes from a vest pocket. "So. Curtains aside, do you have any plans for the night?"

"No. Do you?"

The jounin glanced at him in the process of lighting his cigarette, lips twirking up around the Marlboro between his teeth - not a smirk, or a grin, or a leer, but something in-between. Something, when combined with that lazy look in his eyes, that was entirely suggestive without him saying a word at all.

Kakashi pulled closed the curtains.
