As much as I dislike Mary Sue stories, this story would be good if you did it right. I mean, in order for this story to work, you'd have to research the era. Learn the slang used at the time, know what was invented when, know what kind of dialect they used at the time, how they dressed, etc. I read a story once where the author went so far as to find out how much a cross-country phone call would be during the 1920s. It was a brilliant story, well written and it seemed better because the author knew what she was talking about. So, go for it, hunny. I'll read it...if you know your stuff.

THANK YOU FOR THIS! If you hadn't told me this I would have never thought of it and it most likely would have been quite terrible and possibly the worst fic I have attempted so far. And with your advice, I will not be starting this fic for quite some time. See, I'm not sure if it would be set during mid-twenties or thirties. I would very much like to decide on this, but I'm not sure. Somehow though I have a feeling that the Great Depression will come into play, and change it up a bit. Thank-you again, without your opinions and reviews I would be very well lost, and probably a terrible writer.
