Wedding preparations at the Burrow and Harry moves back to Hogwart's
- My goodness, that's going to be a heck of a wedding, with Ginny, Gabrielle, and Hermione (!) all gunning for Harry (why not send Luna after him, too?) and Voldemort trying to crash.
Author's responseThank you for reading and taking the time to review (love reading re-ordered, by the way!)
Oh yeah, all sights are on Harry, and Voldemort will be crashing the wedding - should be fun.
- Wow. Harry's got a LOT of women who want to 'talk' to him. I loved Hermione's solution to Ron's morning visits. lol I also have a feeling that Molly's love potion is not going to work well at all or if it does those involved won't like the outcome. Anyways, can't wait to read the next chapter! Update soon and keep'em comin!
Author's responseThanks, as always, for reading and taking the time to review. What can I say, Molly's getting a little desperate here. I think you'll like the outcome though.
(#) Black_s_Phoenix 2007-04-14 09:29:08 AMAs a suggestion... do not include Hermione or Ginny in a relationship with Harry as it would completely throw throw off his relationship with Marietta or at the very least the dynamic of the relationship which is what makes the fic what it is as a whole.
Author's responseThanks, as always, for reading and reviewing. I had originally intended to leave the old characters out all together, but I felt it would make for an interesting plot twist to introduce Harry and Family to the gang. The story kinda wrote itself from there.
- Great Chapter. And It Looks Like Hermione Does Love Harry And For That I Will Love You Forever. And You Exposed Harry's Obsession With Ginny In HPB For What It Was. Thank You For Not Falling For The I Suddenly Love Ginny CRAP. And If Ron Really Cared For Hermione Would He Really Have Acted The Way He Did In HBP.Trying To Hurt Her By Throwing His Relationship With Lavender In Her Face. As A Matter Of Fact Ron Was The only Person Who Didn't Act OOC. Oops Sorry About That Rant MY BAD.
Author's responseThanx for reading and reviewing. Don't apologize for the rant, I'm a dyed in the wool H/Hr shipper from the word go. Anyone who doesn't see that those two belong together has to be delusional IMHO!
(#) iamspammer 2007-04-14 01:58:33 PMGreat story. Can't wait for next chapter.
Please, please, please, dont include Hermione, Ginny in there. And dont make any potions work which might make it more tragic and dramatic.
Author's responseThanks for reading and reviewing. Funny thing, in my original outline I had Bellatrix taking a timed potion that would kill her when the umbilical cord was severed - she didn't want to revert to type.
- hehe i hope the next chapter is as good as im thinking is going to be. And please dont include hermione or ginny in the relationships with harry, i dont hate them but it will just break the line with the other chapters and with the story.
Author's responseThanks for reading and reviewing. What can I say, I'll dissapoint someone no matter what I do . . .
- I noticed your other reviews for this chapter so decided to add mine.
Don’t listen to what readers tell you to included for the story. Suggestions for improvement are fine but when they start telling you which character fit the story YOU as the author are writing that’s not on.
You’re the author you know your characters, add who you will and stick to your plan.
Having said that, I like this chapter and liked Belle turning Harry down. Really, the way he proposed was stupid. “I doubt I’ll be able to follow through with this, but, …will you marry me?” (Shakes head “real romantic”) Perfect example of Harry’s clueless-ness about women.
I can’t wait to see how everything plays out, all the talks, potions, hormonal veela. LOL Poor Bill and Fleur though, all those Aurors crashing there wedding. And Voldemort, oh my.
Author's responseThanks for reading and reviewing. Yeah, poor Bill, imagine the epitath, Here lies Bill, screwed into the ground . . .
Let's just say Harry's timing is a bit off and leave it at that for now.
Stick to my guns, good advice! Thanks.
(#) glazedlookineyes101 2007-04-14 10:20:48 PMWhat the!? Why did Bellatrix say "No"! I don't get it! What's going on? I thought that she would have said yes right away. I hope you explain her reasoning in the next update! Is it because of how abrupt it is? No ring? No romantic way of doing it?
Yay! I really, really hope that you include Hermione and Ginny into Harry's family. I don't get why the other readers hate their inclusion so much. If Harry can handle a GHOST of all things surely he can handle his best friend and his ex-girlfriend. It is a bit surprising that Hermione does like Harry that way but then again she DOES talk or think of him a lot in the book. To me she could have easily fallen in love with either Ron or Harry. Ron because she spends practically all of her time with him. She IS with him for 10 months out of the year and then spends a few weeks with her parents then off to the Burrow to be with him while Harry is still at the Dursleys. Harry she can fall in love with because she is ALWAYS thinking of him and worried about him. Sure it could be sisterly love but then again it could also be love a woman has for a man.
As for Ginny she's had Harry stuck in her head and heart as her intended since she was a child and Harry is attracted to her. I did NOT see any indication Molly has used the potion yet, which means Harry is attracted to Ginny on his own. Ginny doesn't need Molly's potion, just the willingness to share and to tell him straight out she loves him and will not just let him walk away without a fight.
Besides, Marrieta and Bellatrix doesn't seem to mind sharing Harry between themselves and Myrtle. Maybe the five women can figure something out.
Molly using a love potion is OOC but then again maybe she will realize Ginny doesn't need it. As long as Ginny keeps her cool and doesn't throw herself at him, and then calmly tell him that she loves him and wants to be with him always I bet he would be willing to give it a chance at the very least.
Sorry for the long rant. As always this is a good chapter specially now that Harry's new life will be intersecting with his old one. Lol, I am also definately looking forward to the meeting between him and Gabrielle. I don't know what will happen but I look forward to it!
I'm also dreading the future chapters a bit since it seems it will be over soon with Voldemort's defeat. I hope not! I'm really enjoying reading this fic.
Author's responseWow, that review was longer than my prologue . . . thank you!
Remember my favorite recurring theme, forgiveness and acceptance. There will be a rough start when new friends and family meet old, but since I love a happy ending . . .
As far as who hooks up with Harry? Let’s just say some folks will be thrilled and others will be disappointed.
The end is in sight.
(#) Geovanni_Luciano 2007-04-16 10:49:31 PMLooking back I didn't take the opportunity to review this one. It seems that you're looking to add Hermione to the mix on this one, but at the same time you've added so many other people into the mix that have unanswered questions. Not that I don't mind a good, well written, Harry/Gabrielle story, but it has to be well written. I'll stand for none of that smutty no plot stuff, Jaconais' HOPE would be a good example of well written. :)
Author's responseThanks, as always, for reading and reviewing. I've been following "Hope" for a very long time, I think it's the best Harry/Gabrielle story to date, but I get to play in their sandbox too. . .
I think you'll like the storyline.
