I refuse to give up hope,
that my love will never be returned.
One day you will understand my love,
and realize that you love me back.
One day you will gaze into my eyes,
and say the three words I yearn to hear.
Until than I will be content,
to love you from afar.
And wait for you,
to see me as I am.
