  A very interesting plot. I wonder if Hermione turned out to have magical inclinations and Harry seeming the kind of person he is - it might might make for an explosive little battle of wits. As long as the magic is very limited in powers.
  
  Anyway - it is well written and thought out thus far, and I await the next chapter with great .... well .... expectations.

  If your not going to right a story that fits in JKR's universe of magic then don't call it a Harry Potter story. You should rename the characters and continue this as an original work.
