  And both the story and the backstory get more interesting. I keep thinking of the original "Mission:Impossible" tv show opening, "Your mission, Mr. Evans, should you decide to accept it..." Harry's going to be a very busy man for a while.

  thank you... and yes he is. i'd not really thought about this in turms of M:I but it does work. i jsut really love daddy stories and there aren't that many good ones so i decided to write my own.

  Hmm, if there is a hitman after that little girl, he's gonna be in for a big surprise. Even if Harry wants to avoid the magical world, you know he's going to use everything at his disposal to protect that young girl. What's going to really make his life "interesting" is if being around him stimulates her to do some "accidental" magic.
  
  On a slightly different note, you've got one small problem I've noticed throughout these chapters so far. You have an occassional problem with near-homonyms: "quite" for "quiet", "through" for "thorough", etc.

  Thanks for pointing that out, my fingers tend to get ahead of my mind, and as good as I am a proofreading others writings, I tend to see what I meant to put instead of what is actually there when it comes to my own work.

  First let me thank you for a good story so far. You're good at painting the mood in the scenes.
  What was behind her mother's death? Were they after Evie (too) -- a bit like how Voldemort was after Harry? Will they find out Evie is alive and try again?
  I hope we'll follow Evie -- either in this story or in sequels -- into adulthood (or late teens). Not that I don't like her as a child, but Harry will face even more challenges with her as a older child/teenager.
  Although it's obviously a 1:1000000 shot (unless there are things we -- the reader -- doesn't know yet), I hope Evie turns out to be a witch... could certainly be fun when they contact them to tell Evie is a witch, beleving Mr. Evans to be a muggle.
  I would love if somehow Harry's past sneak back upon him -- and perhaps he (they) even have to return to the UK. I also hope he'll eventually will need to explain some things to his mates.
  Keep up the good work, and please update soon.

  thank you, right now i have no plans for more tahn one story, but i plan for this one to be long. as for everything else... we'll have to wait and see...
