For my white knight, my hero.
By Phoebe "DragonWolf" Roberts
How can I tell my joy to you,
In words, mere words, so base and rough,
How much means to be beside you,
That just as I am, I am enough?
When most I needed, there you were.
Now safe in your arms, beautiful in your eyes,
My white knight with purpose pure,
In finding you the darkness dies.
You fill my thoughts, in all moments spare,
Your voice with mine, with words my heart outpours.
And if you reach out you'll find me there;
Reach for me, and I am yours.
You're no one else I've ever known,
The man you are, your soul, so true,
So selfless and gentle, the goodness you've shown,
And I am better for having known you.
Now I marvel at my gladness here,
That we are here, that you all my trials braved.
My stalwart knight, my hero dear,
I hold to you, and I am saved.
