Argus Filch was upset.
Very upset.
Why, if it were up to him, the culprits would be in the dungeon, hung upside down by their thumbs, screaming in horror while somebody committed the most perverse acts of violence known to wizardkind on them. Unforgivables were too good for them! If only he'd got there first, but no, that damnable Potter brat and his friends had to be there, and bloody Albus Dumbledore besides!
"Mrrow?"
"Damn those kids for rescuing Mrs. Norris. If I'd got there first, I'd have made sure she was dead and not just petrified! AHCHOO!!! Bloody allergies!"
