Prologue

She watched as he carefully approached her underneath the dim streetlight. The delicate girl knew there was no way for her to escape; but the horror of it all was she didn't want to escape. He crouched down in front of her sparingly, but of course why would a wise creature spare such a rare specimen. She gave him one last look, she knew exactly who he was. She had nothing to lose but her mortality. Calling out she said, " Mortalities at it's end." she grimaced at his reaction. He snarled recklessly , that's when he knew.
