Oh this is great. Fucking great! Catholic school! Those nuns have been trying to get their God loving hands on me for years. I sat in church the Sunday before I started at the Catholic school. I listened to the nun as she rambled on about the junior volunteering program for the teenagers to watch the
younger kids going to the summer camp. As if.
"I hear that you're going to spend the last week in Catholic school" someone snickered
"Gerard, one question. Why do you keep coming here?"
"Same reason you do" he said
"Any volunteers?" Sister Agnes voice cut in. I jumped up
"YES!" I said, anything to get me away from Gerard this summer
"Jennifer!?" Sister Agnes said shocked
"Yes Sister I think I give up on my life of sin" I said sitting back down
"Bold move Jen, very bold" Gerard said
"Yeah all thanks to you" I muttered
"Oh Jen how awful did you forget I hardly come out of my house?" he asked,
"Oh no" I whispered
"-and don't you know my mom volunteers me for this Camp against my will so I can be with my sweet little brother" I was horrified, I didn't volunteer for a Godly Summer camp, I volunteered myself for hell. After church Sister Agnes was talking with my parents.
"Oh Jen we're so happy you're doing this" my mother said
"Yeah about that-" I started to say I quit until
"So happy you get to stay in public school" My dad said
"When is it?" I forced a smile. This would be one hell of a summer.
