Wow. It sounds as though Harry really became a jerk over the years. What shall we see?
What gets me is this: How could anyone manage to cast a single spell that could take away or block everyone's powers?
This writing isn't up to your usual smoothness, Spore. You've got some word repetition going on. -

Oh that explains it. You're not Nightspore. So, the word repetition about which I was speaking:
You use the word "day" three times in the first paragraph, which is pretty short. The word "flick" or "flicked" also gets a little too much play. Etc. -

Interesting story, but dont remember if this is completed or not. If not then you need to flesh it out a little like explain why or how harry got to the point he is at now!
