  Author\'s Response: Thanks for the review. I'm glad you liked the fanfic. I admit, it was a bit of a departure from my usual angst-coated writing. I'm glad you liked the way I wrote Vanilla. I find that she's one of the most underused characters in the Sonic fandom. I've only read one fanfic where she played a key part (and it was excellent), and she only ever gets a passing appearance in anything but Sonic Advance 2. Sonic X features a few good scenes with her in, though. Sorry if I'm rambling. Once again, thanks for the review.
