  Nice. Everyone seems in character and we get some more insight into the boy's thought processes. What is a "wannabe English speaker" though?

  Very sorry for replying literally years after you reviewed (I just discovered the response feature today, haha...) By a "wannabe English speaker" I meant he wants to sound like an English speaker. Thanks for pointing it out.
