['It's really hard to tell if we win or lose. Sometimes we do both, or neither, and sometimes we just lose and never know it.'] Drug use, femmeslash.

Wow!! That's an intensely different Hermione. From the context, I have to assume that this is a world where Harry either defeated Tom and died in the process or was defeated by Tom and all non-purebloods are Fled. In either case, the story packs quite a kick.

Either meaning of the title in Afrikaans is applicable, "broken" or slang for "drunk".

Thank you! It doesn't really matter which, but I wrote it with the thought of Harry dying in the process of killing Voldemort. It didn't fix anything, though, and Purebloods took over the Ministry. Almost all muggleborns went into hiding. This isn't important - it's just backstory.

And, yes, it's Afrikaan for "broken". Who/what would you like for your one-shot to be about? I'm still working on your Ron fic, by the way.

nods I can see that, without Harry to continue putting the pressure of publicity on the Ministry and Wizgeamot, I could see the purebloods taking over like that. I thought "Wizard's Fall" had a nice handle on that, even with a Harry who lived; though his final revenge on Pureblood Wizarding was quite the thorough one using the "power they knew not" - muggle nanotech.

    Oh my.
That one had a bitter taste all the way down.
Cateagle beat me to it again, of course, but i got the title too. Ah well, next time perhaps.
This story was horribly black, in the false chemical way that leads between the poisoned braincell and the ruptured reality. Absolutely hopeless, horrible, disgusting and full of involuntary pity. Thank you.

No, thank you . I enjoy your reviews - your style changes after you read my work, and that makes me smile.

Yeah, this was fairly flinch, huh? I don't think Addict knew what she was getting when she asked for this. And I now plan on spreading the femmeslash out, sporadically - ever since my readers discovered I write it (which is so no-brainer to me, but w/e), that's all they've been requesting. It must stop before I turn into my Hermione.

Cateagle keeps getting them, even though Cat doesn't even ask for new requests. Still waiting on Ron story... tears out hair and begins chainsmoking
