I liked the way this story flowed, and I like how Ecco was characterized, but it seemed to get a bit preachy at the end. Nice story, though. =D
Author\'s Response: Sorry it's taken so long to respond to this review. I tend to have a three-second attention span. ^^'Anyhow, I honestly thought it got a bit preachy towards the end myself. Still, I guess this is apparently a fairly big part of Ecco's mother's philosophy (for the purposes of the fic, of course), and she does want her son to think the same way. And admittedly I agree with her - I think it's a fairly good moral yardstick to not hunt and eat fellow sapient creatures. :)At any rate, thank you for the review and critique.
