Revenge
The raven of darkness flies
Though the fires of hate and lies
To avenge those who wronged her
For revenge is never sweeter.
With sharpened claws and pointed beak
It's those who did her wrong she seeks.
Never again will they strike her down
This time it is the other way around.
At first she tried to forget and go on living,
But they took away the only thing that had meaning.
Now her heart in colder that ice and black as night.
For her persecutors... no end in sight.
And now she spreads out her black wings.
Her mind thinks terrible things
For now she is on the rampage....
And her rage cannot be assuaged.
