Little by little the clock tick tocks
Inevitably reaching the ending start
Furtive little hands those two are
Ending up touching, then springing apart
Look at their many faces
Instant smiles and no-cook frowns
Fiercely struggling to valiantly conquer
Erratic ups and intricate downs
Learn the hard way, darling
Interminable love doesn’t come easy
Frequent glances that mean something though,
Entice us still to a “you and me”
