She had thought she could simply reach out and entwine their fingers and whisper to the sun: i'm yours and you're mine, and here is my happiness. Femmeslash
- I always did think parvati was a little crazy.
You want help with your block.
What I do when I'm blocked is I throw random things in the story and see where it goes. It makes plotholes, but you can always explain them later on in the story.
Youre a good writer, don't let it get to you. If you want to be a professional writer, then you can't possibly allow yourself to get blocked. get up, read a book, walk around, talk it over with someone. in the end, the work is it's own reward.
Hey, could you work the phrase "pink is evil" or the word "spork" into one of your stories? Thinking about my cousin rioght now and she says those two things all the time.
Author's responseThanks, I'll try it out. In any case, I have two questions. One: how on earth does your cousin manage to use "spork" in everyday language? I mean, I can think of a few reasons to say it, but constantly and in conversation? Wow. Talent.
Two: what fandom would you like it in?
- Now that's a very poignant and sad bit that leaves you feeling rather sorry for Parvati.
I'm not sure what to tell you about dealing with writer's block, I seem to have a long-term case myself. One thing that's helped, some, is working other stories around it and letting that help weaken/soften the block.
Author's responseThanks for the advice. I'll try it out. I do think you're being soft on Feathers and Gilt, though, just because I'm being an angst-muffin at the moment. ^-^
- Well, my cousin is talented, what can I say? Spork is her curseword substitute. but oftentimes she will work it's original usage into a normal context.
As for fandom, either bleach, or Naruto, with sasuke saying the "pink is evil" part.
- I'm finally back!! God, oh sweet god, I have returned to the land of the living anime/manga fans!
Sory of the melodrama, but I've been taking college entrance exams and such for the past however long itfeelslikeforever...
I never was interested in things with parvati before, but I do like this quite a bit. I never thought much of parvati, she was just a side character with litte interest, to me, but she really does seem to take life under your hands, she becomes some one that somehow matters a little more than she does in J. K. Rowlings work.
I am finally going to return to the world of the Oracle for as long as I can, if you have the time, could you please read/review and tell me what you think so far?
Author's responseIt has been a while. Thanks so much! Rosalyn wanted a can't-be-together femmeslash, and I didn't want to do a Herm/Ginny...and I've already done a Patilcest. So...
Sure, I'll check it out!
