Ch. 7
Is Everything Ok?
Billy opened his eyes and sat up screaming, “Oh my god! Get it away! Get away!” He threw his arms around frantically tears in his eyes
Joel grabbed him, “Billy! Billy! Stop it!”
Billy looked at Joel, “Get away!” He shoved Joel back screaming tears flying from his eyes
Joel hit the floor and looked at him, “Billy! Stop it right now!” He sat up and brought his hand back into a fist, “Sorry for this…” he punched Billy across the face
Billy toppled to the floor in shock
Joel watched Billy and looked at the closet. He looked at Billy, his hands shook, “Billy… snap out of it.” He stood up, “Right now! Damn it!”
Billy looked up at Joel, “Joel?” He sat up and hugged him, “Joel! Its you!”
Joel watched him, “Yes… Now… let’s get out of this hell hole…” He pulled Billy up from under his arms
Billy watched Joel then nodded, “Right…” He started walking with Joel
Joel walked Billy up to his house and knocked
Hilary opened the door, “Billy! Are you ok?” She hugged him
Billy hugged her
Joel sighed, “Billy… I swear… I swear! If we ever go back… I will kill you!” He started walking. He looked around and took off running
Billy looked at Hilary, a grin spread across his face
Hilary watched him, “Baby? Are you ok?”
The smile faded and he blinked, “What?” He asked watching her, “Yes… I am.” He pushed away from her and stumbled in the house
Hilary watched him and ran up helping him, “Let me help.” She walked him up the steps, “Let’s go to bed…” She led him to the room
Late that night
Billy’s eyes opened. He looked over his shoulder at Hilary, he smiled. He reached over and moved his hand along her arm, “Finally…” He laughed and kissed her shoulder, he smiled and laid back down
The next morning
Billy sat up sweating. He looked around, “I’m… home?” He looked at Hilary, “Hilary?” He watched her and smiled and stood up
Later that day
Susan sat up in bed looking down at her hands
Joel stood at the end of her bed, “You haven’t slept?” He sighed looking down, “I haven’t either…” He looked at her, “But we can’t do anything.”
Susan wouldn’t move or say anything
Joel sighed and shook his head and looked down, “We went in the house again Susan…” He looked at her
She continued to stare down
Joel watched her, he started around the bed, “Something happened to Billy…” He put his hand on the end of the bed, “He’s acting weird… But…” He looked at her, “I need to go..” He started towards her again
Susan looked up at him, her eyes went wide
She watched as a dark figure started towards her. Her hands trembled
Joel walked up beside her as she watched him, “Good bye S…”
Susan screamed and started swinging her arms. She smacked Joel still screaming. She aggressively tried hurting him in any possible way, she clawed at him, and screamed to her loudest
Nurses piled into the room
A Nurse grabbed Joel and pulled him frantically away from Susan and tugged him out of the room. She shoved him away, “Stay out! Leave!”
Joel looked at her, “But I didn’t…”
“Go!” The nurse screamed
Joel took off running
Joel ran into his house and walked up to Benji, “You ok?”
Benji looked at him and smiled, “Yes.” He looked at the TV, “Nothing has happened to me.”
Joel grabbed his head, “Nothing is right…” He looked at him, “Billy and I went to the house and well he got attacked or something. I don’t know… but I was out like a light. And Susan totally freaked on me!”
Benji shrugged looking at him, “A faze? She did get attacked to.”
Joel sighed, “I don’t see where Rick is going with attacking these people! Us... as these people… But why?”
Benji shrugged, “We clearly escaped from him last time.”
Joel watched Benji, “Would that be why?” He looked down, “You think…”
Benji shrugged, “Who knows Joel…” He looked down, “I just smile and bare it.”
Joel nodded watching him
Joel laid in bed looking at the ceiling the lights on
“I just smile and bare it… escaped from him… A phase? Last time…”
All of Benji’s words were going through his head
Joel rolled on his side, “But… what did he want last time? I can’t remember…” He closed his eyes, “Dear God… help me… is everything ok?”
Is Everything Ok?
Billy opened his eyes and sat up screaming, “Oh my god! Get it away! Get away!” He threw his arms around frantically tears in his eyes
Joel grabbed him, “Billy! Billy! Stop it!”
Billy looked at Joel, “Get away!” He shoved Joel back screaming tears flying from his eyes
Joel hit the floor and looked at him, “Billy! Stop it right now!” He sat up and brought his hand back into a fist, “Sorry for this…” he punched Billy across the face
Billy toppled to the floor in shock
Joel watched Billy and looked at the closet. He looked at Billy, his hands shook, “Billy… snap out of it.” He stood up, “Right now! Damn it!”
Billy looked up at Joel, “Joel?” He sat up and hugged him, “Joel! Its you!”
Joel watched him, “Yes… Now… let’s get out of this hell hole…” He pulled Billy up from under his arms
Billy watched Joel then nodded, “Right…” He started walking with Joel
Joel walked Billy up to his house and knocked
Hilary opened the door, “Billy! Are you ok?” She hugged him
Billy hugged her
Joel sighed, “Billy… I swear… I swear! If we ever go back… I will kill you!” He started walking. He looked around and took off running
Billy looked at Hilary, a grin spread across his face
Hilary watched him, “Baby? Are you ok?”
The smile faded and he blinked, “What?” He asked watching her, “Yes… I am.” He pushed away from her and stumbled in the house
Hilary watched him and ran up helping him, “Let me help.” She walked him up the steps, “Let’s go to bed…” She led him to the room
Late that night
Billy’s eyes opened. He looked over his shoulder at Hilary, he smiled. He reached over and moved his hand along her arm, “Finally…” He laughed and kissed her shoulder, he smiled and laid back down
The next morning
Billy sat up sweating. He looked around, “I’m… home?” He looked at Hilary, “Hilary?” He watched her and smiled and stood up
Later that day
Susan sat up in bed looking down at her hands
Joel stood at the end of her bed, “You haven’t slept?” He sighed looking down, “I haven’t either…” He looked at her, “But we can’t do anything.”
Susan wouldn’t move or say anything
Joel sighed and shook his head and looked down, “We went in the house again Susan…” He looked at her
She continued to stare down
Joel watched her, he started around the bed, “Something happened to Billy…” He put his hand on the end of the bed, “He’s acting weird… But…” He looked at her, “I need to go..” He started towards her again
Susan looked up at him, her eyes went wide
She watched as a dark figure started towards her. Her hands trembled
Joel walked up beside her as she watched him, “Good bye S…”

Joel ran into his house and walked up to Benji, “You ok?”
Benji looked at him and smiled, “Yes.” He looked at the TV, “Nothing has happened to me.”
Joel grabbed his head, “Nothing is right…” He looked at him, “Billy and I went to the house and well he got attacked or something. I don’t know… but I was out like a light. And Susan totally freaked on me!”
Benji shrugged looking at him, “A faze? She did get attacked to.”
Joel sighed, “I don’t see where Rick is going with attacking these people! Us... as these people… But why?”

Joel nodded watching him
Joel laid in bed looking at the ceiling the lights on

All of Benji’s words were going through his head
Joel rolled on his side, “But… what did he want last time? I can’t remember…” He closed his eyes, “Dear God… help me… is everything ok?”
