A poem for anyone who has 'caught the bug' (as I have)!

There can never be enough stuff to collect.
I'm looking for comics, models, recordings...
But I'll stop soon...before I'm in debt.

EBay beckons like a treacherous sea siren.
I'm searching for just one more doll, annual, DVD...
I promise I'll stop. I'm just not sure when.

Another item is crossed off the list.
But then there's that rare token, card, autograph...
These simply can't be missed!

The shelves are full and fit to burst.
No room for the figurines, tin badges, reference books...
It's collecting at its worst.

The thrill of the chase becomes an obsession.
For the missing magazine, plastic toy and china plate...
Needed to complete the collection.
